Testimonials

Nothing speaks better for a company than its customers.

I have worked with Lee Renner on the resurfacing of all of the tennis courts in our park system (well over 144 courts), as well as the construction of new courts. “Lee is the type of person and contractor where you could walk away on vacation for two weeks and come back and know that you had nothing to worry about. The project would be done right, and if problems arose, he would fix them. There are few contractors like this any more that you could turn to to get this type of job done and done right.

I wanted to take this opportunity to drop you a note regarding the work your firm has recently completed for the University, and to let you know how pleased we are with the post-tensioned concrete tennis courts.

As you know, the initial design for the reconstruction of our 12-court facility came in way over budget for the project. In selecting Renner Sports Surfaces for a design/build contract, your firm was able to accomplish all goals of the tennis center, and still save the University almost $1 million dollars.

In addition to the cost savings, it was refreshing dealing with a contractor who was not only knowledgeable and professional, but also easy to work with, conscientious and quality-driven. Your field personnel were well organized and completed the project early, and within budget. I am not aware of any items at the end of the project that were not planned for or addressed at the front end, during design.

We have hosted a number of tournaments since completion of the courts, and the comments from the visiting teams have been envious. We now have the premier tennis facility within our division, if not the finest in the country. We are very proud of it.

I would recommend Renner Sports Surfaces to anyone considering a tennis court or tennis facility. Your knowledge and expertise in post-tensioned concrete construction was invaluable to completing our project. Thanks again.

Through the years, Lee Renner has built more than fifty tennis courts for our company and affiliates, and has surfaced many of those courts several times. We selected Lee over the years because he is honest, on time, and his work is competitively priced. He thoroughly understands all phases of tennis court construction and always gives us reliable and accurate information about the choices involved including the short run and long run impact of various decisions. Lastly, Lee always stands behind the quality of his work 100% – which is important to us considering the significant size of the various contracts. When it comes to tennis court construction and maintenance, our first choice is Lee Renner.

We wish to convey to you and your staff what a pleasure it was to have collaborated with your company on Washington Park Tennis Court construction. Tom was exceptionally flexible to our changes in course – as well as multiple people giving directions. Short version: The project was a pleasure and may we recommend your firm to all inquirers!

I just wanted to take this opportunity to drop you a note regarding the work Renner Sports Surfaces has completed recently for the two facilities I manage, and to thank you for your support of the tennis community in Denver. As you know, our 20-court facility at Gates Tennis Center was the USTA Outstanding Large Public Facility of the Year in 2008, due in part to your firm’s commitment to quality.

When we first met a couple of years ago to develop a comprehensive plan for rehabilitation of the courts, we were in the middle of a construction project that included a new clubhouse, pro shop and the incorporation of the USTA intermountain offices. Part of this project was the construction of 4 new post-tensioned concrete tennis courts, one of which was a tournament court, which your firm installed. Upon completion of the work on the other 16 courts, our facility is now unsurpassed!

At the Jewish Community Center, your recommendation to overlay the 4 cracked asphalt courts with a post-tensioned concrete slab was exactly the right process. We now have 4 beautiful new courts, with all new fence and equipment, installed with minimal impact to the club operations.

I would like to acknowledge the level of professionalism and expertise of your personnel, from the sales staff to the construction crews. It has been a pleasure to work with a company that provides the level of service, quality and expertise that your firm does. All work completed met or exceeded my expectations, from expediency to quality.

Finally, I would like to thank Renner Sports Surfaces for their generosity and support of the tennis community in Colorado as a major sponsor of the Colorado State Open, one of our premier annual events that we host. And thanks for the donation of the RSS-500 cushioned surface to one of our courts. This is gaining momentum in popularity and could possibly dictate the direction we go in the future.

Please feel free to share this letter with whomever you wish. I highly recommend Renner Sports Surfaces for any tennis project, from new to rehabilitation. Thanks again.

Please consider this letter evidence of a long, successful business relationship between South Suburban Park and Recreation District and Lee Renner. Mr. Renner, over the past 20 plus years, has performed work, which in my opinion, and in the opinion of our recreational users, is of high quality. Mr. Renner’s professional character, attention to quality and detail, his competitiveness in the bidding market, contract management, and the end result of a superior product permit me to highly recommend Mr. Renner and his company to fulfill your tennis court construction requirements.

Park School District R-3 just recently had a new rubber track installed. Lee Renner received the bid for a couple of reasons. First we were very impressed with the composition of the track he had to offer and second was the price. It was very competitive. Lee completed the project on time and within budget with no problems at all. Lee included many extras for our football field and running track at no additional charge. There was constantly someone overseeing the project to insure quality and good workmanship. The sub-contractors used were professional and dependable. Lee is an honest and dependable person, whom I have no reservation in giving him a personal recommendation. We have been very happy with his work.
