Wyoming Running Track built by Renner earns ASBA Award!

As we announced in November, 2011, the Johnson County School District in the small community of Kaycee, WY, constructed a new state-of-the-art running track for the Kaycee Jr/Sr High School. Renner Sports Surfaces is pleased to report that this facility has earned an Outstanding Outdoor Track Facility Award for 2012 as presented by the American Sports Builders Association (ASBA).

Renner Sports Surfaces developed special cabling methods to create an oval-shaped post-tensioned concrete slab, which provides the most stable environment for all-weather track surfaces. Surface deterioration is kept to a minimum, thus maintenance and future repairs are made easier because of this base.

For more information about the technology used to build this track, please view our post-tensioned concrete PDF and visit the running track section of this website.
